With Didier Dagueneau, Chateau de Tracy has always been the top performer in Pouilly Fumé Appellation. This 101 Rangs gives a wonderful expression of one essential component of the soils you could find in this place: Silex. Powerful and with a long finish (it never ends), this wine reveals a unique minerality and a lovely hint of oak. Made from very old vines located in a specific area called “101 Rangs” (which means 101 Rows in French), this Pouilly Fumé has a distinctive personality and needs time to show its best like all wines from Henry d’Assay. 2008 is the first vintage. Bravo!
