Marius by Michel Chapoutier celebrates Valentine’s Day…every day!

Maison M.Chapoutier recently announced the launch of a new wine called Marius by Michel Chapoutier at Vinexpo 2011. On Valentine’s Day, they revealed they would publish a book about some famous stories of Marius and unveiled a first episode. Entitled “Imagine, Paris, 1889” this story is about Marius’s arrival in the capital, with his father Polydore Chapoutier, for presenting Chapoutier wines at the Universal Exposition. Discovering Paris and the new Eiffel Tower, love stories… this first adventure shows a young and adventurous Marius. The story happens when Marius was only 18 years, more than a century before he became a symbol with his picture on the 2 new labels of Marius by Michel Chapoutier. At this time, he did not know yet he would decide, one day, to acquire the Chante-Alouette parcel owned by the de la Sizeranne family and would make it a commercial brand which is now known all over the world as Chante-Alouette Hermitage Appellation. Maybe he did not know, but he already had a strong passion for Life and Wine… You can read the first episode here:Marius by Michel Chapoutier
