Champagne Mandois Victor 2002 "Exceptional and Delicate Balance"

Victor 2002Champagne Mandois was recently selected in the Special 2010 Wine Selection of the french newspaper Le Figaro. Le Figaro’s Wine experts made a very limited selection among the best champagnes and wines from France. The newly released 2002 Vintage of Cuvee Victor was among their choices. “Homage to the founder of the champagne house which began with the family estate vineyard, this 100% Chardonnay cuvee comes from more than a half century old vines. Cuvee Victor is partly aged in oak barrels, which is very rare in champagne. Very active internationally (the two-thirds of the total production of the champagne house is exported), Mandois proposes a cuvee that reveals an exceptional and delicate balance. To discover absolutely.” (Figaro – October 29th, 2010)
