Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard has just announced that its Chablis Grand Cru has been selected by Cathay Pacific to be served to those travelling first class. Cathay Pacific is a leading airline – voted World’s Best Airline 2014 and awarded 5 stars by Skytrax. This wine was chosen for its freshness and long-lasting taste. Chablis Grand Cru will be served in first class on board Cathay Pacific planes from November 2015 to December 2016.

Julien Brocard commented: “We are very proud and honoured to have been chosen by Cathay Pacific Airways to be served in first class. The discreet luxury of Cathay Pacific is very much in line with the spirit of our Chablis Grand Cru; it too enjoyed first class treatment in our cellars in order to reveal the purity and authenticity of a terroir which is revered the world over.”

The international renown of the estate, which sells to more than 50 countries worldwide, is hugely appealing to airlines whose clients immediately recognise the finely honed minerality of its Chablis. The estate has been crafting wines in the heart of the Chablis region since 1973 with all the care and attention required to bring out the strength and the charm of nature. A Chablis specialist, Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard takes Chardonnay in its pure form and chisels it as a jeweller cuts diamonds, scrupulously applying the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture to give full expression to the richness of the terroir. It is this insistence on quality and this love of an authentic and unique wine that has made the estate’s flawless reputation around the world.

Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard will attend the TFWA (Tax Free World Exhibition) in Cannes (France) in the Green Village, Stand H60, from October 19-23, 2015.
